Privacy Policy
This policy explains how MarginStay handles information when you visit marginstay.com, book a call with us or email us. It covers this website only. If you have a question about it, write to anastasios@marginstay.com.
What we collect
- Details you give us. When you book a call, you enter your details, such as your name and email address, into the booking form provided by Cal.com. When you email us, we receive your email address and what you write.
- Which page you booked from. Each Book a call button tells the booking form which button or article it was clicked on, so we can see which page led to a call.
- Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. Google Fonts, which supplies our typeface, and Cal.com, which supplies the booking form, also receive this kind of information when their files load on our pages.
- Visit statistics. Google Analytics records how you use our pages, such as which pages you open, roughly where you are, which device you use and whether you booked a call.
The savings calculator on our home page runs in your browser. The numbers you enter are not sent to us or stored.
Cookies and tracking
We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read and count the calls booked. It sets cookies in your browser to do this. It does not tell us who you are. We do not use advertising pixels on this site, and our own pages set no other cookies. The services we load, such as Cal.com and Google Fonts, may use their own cookies or similar technology under their own policies.
To stop Google Analytics, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, block cookies in your browser settings or use a content blocker.
How we use information
We use your details to reply to you and to schedule and hold the call you asked for. We use the page you booked from and our visit statistics to understand which pages are useful.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the services that run this site and our booking process: our hosting provider, Vercel, Cal.com, Google Fonts and Google Analytics, plus the email and calendar services we use to run our business. Each handles information under its own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep the details from your booking and emails for as long as we need them to respond to you and, if we work together, to run that work.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing anastasios@marginstay.com. We will reply as soon as we can. To limit what third parties receive when you visit, you can use your browser's privacy settings or a content blocker.
Children
This site is written for hotel owners and managers. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If what we do changes, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
